Google Chrome Mobile reaches one billion users



Google Chrome Mobile, originally released in 2012, has recently joined YouTube, Maps, Google Play Store and Gmail in the exclusive Billion Plus users category.

In November 2015 Google announched Chrome's user base basically doubled with 800 million compared to the 400 million userbase Chrome had in 2014 and now in early 2016 we are well over one billion.

Google Chrome this week has just been updated to version 50 which is another big milestone for the leading browser.

ASUS Philippines has announced a new ZenFone 2 Laser model: The ZenFone Laser 5.5 S (S for Stunning) (ZE550KL) is similar to the earlier Zenfone Laser 5.5 but features a more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Octa-core SoC clocked at 1.5Ghz that puts it in the same performance level of the Asus ZenFone Selfie less the 13MP selfie shooter camera.

The Blackview Ultra Plus will feature an huge 5.5" IPS HD 720P display (hence the "plus" added to the name), Mediatek MT6735 quad core SoC clocked at 1Ghz, 4G LTE, Dual SIM support, 2GB of RAM, 16GB eMMC storage with microSD support, Wi-Fi n w/Bluetooth 4.0, Android 5.1 Lollipop and 3180mAh Li-po battery.

Release date and price as the moment is sadly unknown.

Apple updates the 12" MacBook with Skylake CPUs and new Rose Gold color option

Apple today announced the 2016 12" MacBook laptop.


The main changes are the new Intel Skylake Core M dual core/quad threaded processors and a new Rose Gold color option.

The MacBook 2016 can be configured with an Intel Core m3-6Y30 at 1,1Ghz (2,2Ghz Turbo), Intel Core m5-6Y54 at 1,2Ghz (2,7Ghz Turbo) and Intel Core m7-6Y75 at 1,3Ghz (3,1Ghz Turbo) CPUs, coupled with 8GB of LPDDR3-1866 (Soldered, Dual-Channel).



The iGPU Intel HD Graphics 515 provides up to 25% more 3D performance compared to the previous model's Intel HD Graphics 5300.

USB 3.1 Type-C is again the only connector as well as the 2304x1400 Pixel Retina Display, ForceTouch trackpad and chassis design are identical to the 2015 version.

The 41.4Wh battery can last for up to 10 hours of web browsing according to Apple.

The Core m3 Version come with 256GB of SSD storage and costs 1299$, while the Core m5 version features 512GB of SSD storage and costs 1599$. The Core m7 version is only Configured-to-Order and price remains unknown as of now.

Macbook is available since yesterday in the american Apple Store, and should be available worldwide starting today (20 April 2016).

Samsung Galaxy C7 specs show up on AnTuTu

A day after the much rumored Samsung Galaxy C5 (SM-C5000) specs have been leaked on geekbench, it's the time of it's more powerful sibiling: The Samsung Galaxy C7 (SM-C7000)!


This time the infos come from AnTuTu and looks like the C7 will be an awesome mid-ranger with a final score of over 60.000 points.
